Apex Fusion

I have lost connection to Apex fusion. The controller is doing everything right but is no longer connected to fusion. The interface reads:

ApexFusion: no comm

I have not changed any settings on any device. Can someone please tell me how to get this resolved?

appreciate it.

You might want to make sure your on the latest APEX firmware.
Also could have been a issue with your home router (loosing mac address of your APEX, a reboot of the APEX would have fixed that).

I would not worry much, as you said your APEX functions fine when disconnected from the cloud.

I had the same problem. A pain when I traveled. It would only happened when I lost power, when power came back it would sometimes not reconnect. I put a battery backup on it.

A lot of times this will happen if the power bounces in your home for a second. Usually if the power bumps enough to restart the apex and the network router the Apex will restart quicker than the router restarts. When that happens the Apex will register a comm error on startup. It does not try to re-establish network afterwards, but if you restart it again it will work because when it comes back online the network is already up and running. I've seen this several times with the exact same symptom you are experiencing.

I'm not sure if the same thing can happen if just the router has an issue on it's own, but I think it possibly could have the same basic outcome.

Disconnect the power and Ethernet. Wait a few then connect the ethernet THEN the power.

This happens to me every now and than, but mainly after an outage.

It can happen if weak connection or if lots of people around you also have wifi which screws with signal strength. I talked to an apex guy at RAP. He told me to get a connector at Fay's or best buy which then routes into the outlet instead of wifi. I'm a tech moron, so I don't know much about these things, so I need to go get one when I set up my new tank
