Has anyone else had problems displaying graphs on their Apex? I notice that when I connect to my Apex and click graphs, the graph will normally not display (just the options below). Then! If I click something else then return to graphs, it will display fine. I also notice when changing the display options then updating the graph, it will frequently crash my web browsers. About half the time it kills the web server on the Apex and I have to cycle its power. I can duplicate this issue on iPad with Safari and my Blackberry Torch. I am running the current Firmware on my Apex. Any guidance is appreciated. Thanks.

I have to ask for the graph more than once sometimes... which can be annoying.
I also have to click on today's date after asking for 7 days of data. Otherwise, it just gives me back 1 day.
Little quirks I have learned to live with, but should probably have told Neptune about.

When I get locked out, is it possible to redraft the web server on the Apex remotely using telnet or something else? It's annoying when it freezes up while I'm out of town and cannot gain access again until I arrive home to physically cycle the power.

I never got really good results using Safari under previous firmware versions, so I don't use it. If you are on an iPhone/Ipad, you can use the Aquanotes App. It gives pretty good functionality, but has not been updated in awhile. If you can telnet into the Apex, you can use 'Reboot' to restart it.

Do the graphs work OK on your desktop - is this just an issue with the mobile devices? Reason I ask is if so, they're notorious for not fully supporting all the Java extensions that are out there that we take for granted with desktops.
Personally, I never use the Neptune web server from a mobile device. I use Aquanotes or Ken's TankManager.

Anybody have an iPad that's running Aquanotes? The OP is trying to get it to work on the iPad. I wonder if there's a difference in how the app interacts with the OS between the iPhone and iPad. I know the MapQuest app works awful when run on the iPad vs. iPhone (there isn't a dedicated iPad version I don't think).

Immediately after the latest firmware update, I had major issues with the graphs (Safari, on a Mac), and found the log interval on the Apex to be configured to a negative number instead of the default 10 minutes (cf. manual, page 70). It's certainly nothing I'd ever modified; setting it to a positive value corrected the problem.
However, in general, the graphs frequently tend to blow up Flash, taking Safari down with it. I've since developed my own app that reads the XML stream from the Apex, and have noticed that from time to time it returns a valid XML document, but with zero records contained. Immediately reissuing the same query returns valid results, so it's an intermittent thing. I'm wondering if the same thing is happening to the Flash-based browser version, causing the errors.

:wildone: Thanks for the heads up. It'd been broken for me for so long, I hadn't even noticed that it had been updated.
I'm running Aquanotes on my iPad (iOS 4.2), connecting to my Apex running 4.04_BC10, and graphs display fine. they do take quite awhile to load toward the end of the month, but today (only 3 days into the month) they load pretty quickly. Axis labels much more readable than on the iPhone.
