So I have tried before to figure this out but am normally try to avoid messing with my Apex. I have had the Apex for at least 3 or 4 years now. When I log on to my apex through my computer at home or use my App on my phone it does not look like the apex fusion screen I keep seeing now. I guess its the old apex page. How do I change it over to Apex fusion?????????? Do I need to update? do I need to delete current app and get a new fusion one???

The fusion screens you are talking about are the online screens. You need to connect your fusion to apexfusion.com. Once you login to the fusion site it asks for a link token from you Apex. To get this login to the apex locally and you should see the fusion token at the top of the screen

You are using the classic interface. Fusion is just a neat tool with...different functionality. It seems geared to make some cool stuff easier, but loses out on some things. I use both interfaces depending upon what I'm doing.

I'd look into backing up your program and updating your firmware as I *think* you will need a much more current firmware to use Fusion.

With your existing interface - using either your computer and logging into the Apex directly, or through one of the apps - you are accessing the Apex directly. If you're outside of your local network, you've had to set up Port Forwarding rules in your router, and probably do some other stuff in order to access your Apex from outside your house.

Fusion is basically your Apex in "the cloud." Fusion is not an app, but just a website that is "linked" to your Apex. You log in to Fusion - from anywhere you can see the internet - and you can see your Apex. You don't have to set up Port Forwarding, or understand how to access your network from outside your house. You just link your Apex to your Fusion account over the internet, and it does all the rest.

If you haven't updated your firmware in a couple years (says the guy who's still running 4.20 :) ), you'd need to in order to hook up to Fusion.
