Apex setup ??

When i hook up the BOB what are the numbers? A1-A6???
I dont see how to add a BOB module to the apex. It does not list it, Just the lunar and aquasurf.
What i am asking is how do i address them in the programming?
I am dense with this programming.

Nevermind i called curt again.

Anybody else that wants to know that there is no special add a module for the BOB its already a part of APEX just connect and you're good to go. Just refer to them as switch 1-6
Like

If Switch6 OPEN Then OFF
If Switch6 CLOSED Then ON

I figured why my outlet problems were happening. ;)
I goofed. LOL I didn't pay attention to the numbering on the outlets while changing them.
All good now it all clicked on like a light bulb.
JR I'll get a pic tomorrow of the ATO setup via BOB and floats.

Trying to set up a resonance via tunze and apex.
I am using 2 tunze 6201's what should i write for it to do ao?
TIA

This should help get close, after that each tank will take some manual tweeking...

Tank Width (feet) Off Time On Time

3' 0.6 Seconds 0.5 Seconds
4' 0.8 Seconds 0.8 Seconds
6' 1.2 Seconds 1.2 Seconds
8' 1.7 Seconds 1.8 Seconds

Its a 6 ft tank, I tried the statement that is in the manual and it reports a bunch of errors.

What should the statements look like for ramping up and down 30-100% 1.2 seconds?
TIA

My tank uses the 1.2 profile (see web page); in short you set divide-by-10 to enables and use a value of 12.

Its not working for me, Can someone post what they are using for programming statements, so i can cut and paste to see if i am off base here?
Thanks

Also thanks Ken!!

I have my complete Apex program on my web site; take a look, I use the same parameters as you are using.

I have a five foot tank with an aquasurf, I'm assuming that my timing should be 1 second, but I'm not positive on what the other value (4) should convert to. Would it be half the "On Time" which would result in a profile something like this (pirated from your Apex page)

Minimum Intensity: 30
Maximum Intensity: 100
Sync: Enabled
Divide-by 10: Enabled
Initial off time: 5
On time: 10
Off time: 0

Thanks!

I have a 5 foot tank also. On one side I have:

Minimum Intensity: 30
Maximum Intensity: 100
Sync: Disabled
Divide-by 10: Enabled
Initial off time: 11
On time: 11
Off time: 0

And on the other side I have:

Minimum Intensity: 30
Maximum Intensity: 100
Sync: Enabled
Divide-by 10: Enabled
Initial off time: 0
On time: 11
Off time: 11

I get a very nice wave. My tank is also 30 inches wide.

I think resonance varys by tank length, width and how much your pump can push.
My sweet spot on my 180 gal with 2 6100's were 0.8 seconds.

Yea....that's why I mentioned the width of my tank. It's an Elos and it is actually 31.5 inches. You don't usually see a lot of 5 foot tanks that wide.

How do i set the apex up to my ip addy?
Call my provider and get the address?
Once that is done then how do i set up> I would search here but search is down. :(
So how would i fill this in? Sorry for all the newb questions.
I read the directions but i am lost. :)

AquaController email setup
Email enable Enabled Disabled
SMTP Server
SMTP port (Default @@)
From address
To address
Alt to address
Re-email delay (minutes)
Time zone
Email authentication Enabled Disabled
User name
User password
Email test

Ok i got the smpt addy and port#
I add my email addy to the from addy?
Add another email of mine to the to address?
What is the user name and password for the for the apex or the email account the smpt is thru?

I tried a few times its not sending email. Any tips?

Thanks!
I tried, just like it states. Not working. :(
Do i need a physical addy other than smpt.att.yahoo.com??

Thanks to Ken and wwanthony for the help, that wave got a little nicer. My tank is extra deep as well and it seems to benefit from the extended delay.

How would you go about dealing with a power failure in Apex. I know in the Jr. I can force the skimmer to start up later than the return pump... giving me the needed time to avoid an overflow.

Jr heres the float with the memory flex plastic. Its pretty cool, Just some hot water and then bend it the way you want it.
Sorry i didnt get a pic of the BOB. Its just 2 wires and really easy to install.
one to ground and one to one of the 6 imputs.
I am using 2 floats this one is for the sump overflow alarm.
