I did some online research and found out that many EX3700 users tried to use the units as "bridge only" because they were having signal interference. However, there was no such option. Then a Best Buy employee told me that WIFI extenders cut the primary wifi signal in half to distribute/extend the other half throughout the house. ...

I found the same information when I was researching to use a repeater as a bridge. That's why I dug out that old bridge.
I also found that IOGEAR bridge but didn't buy it since my old Netgear bridge is still working. Though I might get one in the future as backup.

Also since none of my MAC devices have an Ethernet port, I had to buy an adapter for that as well!!

I've use the TP-Link N300 for years and thankfully it's still working.

Just a quick update. The IOGEAR bridge is working very well. Also, it's very compact.
