Apex WXM Question - Radion Profiles

I'm an Addict.
Hi all,

Question, so on the Apex WXM.. I have 5 radions and 3 vortechs configured. And it's working GREAT.

My question is, let's say I have company over at noon. Well, my tank lighting is around a 12K look at noon and I like to be able to show off the coral colors etc with some nice blues while company is over. With the reeflink, I could just throw a preset up and call it a day while people are here.

Is there a way to program an virtual outlet with set radion schedule and if I enable that profile I can turn my lights to that specific color combo for the time being?

I have no idea how to do what I'm wanting without manually changing the regular schedule on each light and then having to change it back...

Any help would be great!

It's pretty easy if you use the new apex fusion website to generate you're color ramps.

Create a virtual outlet - let's say Led_Demo_VO
Rename a profile to Led_Demo and setup for the color you want
Inside the VO just put Set OFF

Inside your radion outlets put at the bottom of all the programming
If Outlet Led_Demo_VO = ON Then Led_Demo

It all works fine with the season table or the sticky on the neptune website that Russia made but it will mess up your ramp timing for that day.

Let's say your lights are almost off ramping down from daylight at 10pm if you turn on the Demo VO then the timer resets when you turn the Demo VO off and the light start over with the last programmed brightness.

If you use the apex fusion site to program your lighting then it will resume right where you left off in the ramp profile.

You can do the same with your vortechs also

What is the season table? I'll have to Google.
 
If you have any troubles just post your programming. I'll give it a look over

The season table just allows you to adjust your tank lighting and temperature base on the seasons. (Eg - cooler in winter and hotter in summer. Shorter days in winter and longer in summer.
If you have the LSM. It uses this for the lunar cycles

So just to get one thing straight... I use fusion now for my schedules etc... If I program in a VO and enable it to change lights... It stays on until I disable correct? And once I disable, it picks back up where my schedule would be at? Correct?
 
Correct. You can put a min time then off line in the VO outlet to have it run for a set time. But I just manually turn mine off.

Yea, I would do the same. Sweet I'm going to play with this later when I get home... Still questioning this WXM. I get crazy random "missing" issues all the time. Starting to get frustrating.. I'll lose pumps and lights until I can actually be home to tinker with it to get them to reconnect.
 
You can get fancy if you have an open input by adding a push button and tieing if to the VO. Then just push the button to apply your color profile you want and then the min time then off line would turn it off after a predetermined time

How do I setup the color I want if I don't want to mess with my existing radion configuration... I need to know the code right? That's where I'm confused. I'm in the VO "ADVANCED" but not sure on coding...

Any idea?

I guess that's where I'm confused. I'm seeing both options in Native and Apex... How do I actually ADJUST the color profile that I want on the virtual outlet? Screenshots would be excellent!
