API test question

When you test your water with the ALI test kit and compare the results against the test cards, do you hold the water tub tight against the card? Or do you hold it off the card so light gets behind the tube to compare results? The color is different and darker if I hold tight to card. Thanks

when i used the api i put it tight. best advice is to ditch them.

What are you testing for?

Also don't put it up against the card. Holds it about a half inch away. I've checked the results with better test kits. Salifert and elos works for me.
