API testers.....How do they stack up?

I am starting to go digital with monitors as I can't trust api kits anymore haha.
For example its almost impossible to read the ph kit, all the colors are almost the same and colors change under dif lighting.
I tested a calcium calibration fluid (425) that came with my seachem calcium titration and it came out 460 with api. it seems like the api calcium numbers are always higher then other kits so keep that in mind.
I have no problem with there other kits and use them because there cheap

Yeah I guess that's where I come from. Does it REALLY MATTER if the Ca levels are 425 or 460? I guess i'm just Not. A. Serious. Hobbyist. Or maybe I don't chase numbers and rely mainly on peering into the little world to tell me what I need to know. One of the two, but I'll tell you which one I'm going with.

I have a salifert mag test kit that is way off of other test kits. just because its more expensive doesnt mean your always gonna get your moneys worth.
