apple green color algae

20 gallon tank that am using for quarantine that has about 8 pounds of live rock has green algae. it grows more in the areas that have higher water flow. my live rock would be doing better but i have an urchin tearing it up and slowing the rate (i'm going to give it away or bring it back to the dockside). anyway the green algae doesn't bother me too much but i don't see any other color algae's growing. my lights are weak 18 watt actinic and 18 watt some sort of old white bulb (new one's on the way) the 90 gallon main tank is going to have 260 watt PC's, that should be adequate i'd think. i'm just rambling now...

um thats not a macro algea i dont believe well at least not a desireable one its just algea that is coming with the start of the tank

thats a normal process... it will become coraline in a few months

i found it on a piling at the local dock. actually i needed it out of my tank so i stopped by Pets+ here and offered it up free and they actually gave me $10 store credit so, DEAL.
