A little update on the upcoming April Meeting. I just heard from StanD and he has agreed to give his famous talk "Do Fish Feel Pain". You will not want to miss it!!


Also as usual, we will have our monthly raffle.

As Tom mentioned in a separate thread, nominations will be accepted at April's meeting for May's club officer elections.

I heard he'll be accompanied by the fish from the McDonalds fillet 'o fish commercial so we can get the fish's point of view first hand.

All meetings will be held in the education building unless it is the Christmas party or otherwise noted. We hold the Christmas party there because there is more space and we usually have a private shark feeding for the club.

Here is a map I made a while back. It shows where to park and where to walk to each meeting place. The blue line is the walking path and the red is driving.

That would suck... we try to stick with the third Friday of each month at 7:30. Only when the zoo has something going on already do we have to rearrange things and go for another Friday at 7:30.

How does the raffle work? Should I bring some extra cash for it?

Raffle tickets run $1/pc. Its run like a Chinese auction where there is a separate bucket for each item.

In addition, there is a member's only raffle/door prize. Member's in good standing receive one free ticket.
