***Just incased you missed out here's some quick photo's of the event***

First, Thank you John for allowing us to host the meeting in your lovely home! Then thank you to everyone who donated back into the club for the raffle. Remember this allows new corals to be purchased for future club events :) Also good turn out, 15-17 members!

As you enter John's home, you get to see his sweet tank on your right.

Then we traveled to the back were we hung out and BBQ'd.

Then the raffle started! Over 35+ frags to raffle off, a Rapidled Par 38 and a Fragarack! Talk about a lot when it was just a meeting :)

Then to end it off we had John give an easy tutorial on how to correct the blue masking on pictures.

Thanks John for letting us invade your home. Great setup on the tank. I was intrigued by the idea of the external overflow. Really clean setup. Great to see everybody again and nice job to all those who brought frags for the raffle.

Thanks for having us John. Can't wait to see the tank fill up. Thanks to everyone who showed up and made it a great meeting.

John,

Thank you for the hospitality and photo tutorial. Foresee great things with your new tank and love that you have space for a fish room.

Great seeing everyone, new and old. Thanks to those that contributed to the raffle and thank to the sponsor donations, RapidLed & frag-a-rack.

Thanks to Dragonvale for the pics and to everyone for the kind comments.

Since someone (Zeroinverse???) mentioned Picasa, I had to try it. First impressions are positive with some cautions. When you install it (it's free, btw), it wants to grab all your images! I don't trust Google's security all that much so I did manage to find a way to tell it to stop cataloging my entire HD!

The editor portion of Picasa is online. There is a 'find neutral color' button and works a lot like what I demoed in iPhoto. The editor is a little slow on big images, but lets you resize easily.

What a great raffle! I got some very nice frags. Even though Grant did not bring any frags THIS TIME, I got a container that must have been recycled with a distinctive Grant (or Suzie) made label! :)

John,
Thanks for checking! I have never actually color corrected, but I will now that I have learned how from you.

Ron

John,

Thanks for hosting. I too really like the look and extra space generated by the external overflow. You had mentioned it sticking out a little from the wall, but I think that's a great tradeoff.
