I never could understand why a store didn't have a meet on a 1/4 basis. Run deals on the day, raffles, IMO good for the hobby, club and the store.

Seriously. ...When I was doing the car thing (hense the TurboIS300) I drove to Manassas for a shops barbecue x2 (ended up spending $4K that I didn't plan on) and then up to Baltimore a few times for meets / Ques up there.

I think it is a great way to draw business to your store..... it is even more so a good idea when your particular shop isn't in a high traffic area (of hobbiests - i know that road gets crazy busy at rush hour)

I think Mr.Coral does the same kind of thing when he gets big orders (I may be wrong) but something like the first 5 get a free snail.....or whatever... but............. it was just an idea.

I did some measuring and with the car seat in the SUV I can't get the grill in there. (I bought it before we had The Bit.) So if someone has a pick-up I'm still willing to bring the grill. Just need some help getting it there.

Hey Guys... Sam and I talked about hosting -- but it's too soon. We're still trying to get basic stuff from the transition undercontrol. Love the idea -- especially if you guys are willing to grill. Would love to do it, when we can do it up right!
