I have been killing these things for a month every time I get one 2-5 pop up and in places that are a pain to get to, well last Saturday spent the day hunting Apt. and got all I had seen well tonight There are more than I have ever seen and in the same area as last saturday??? I have been using Joes Juice and I also read that they are very hard to get rid of I saw a post this morning were this persons tank is over run with them. I have been adding corals and feel very frustrated that I have monitored water changed and added light to have these little suckers.
I have been reading there is anubi that only eats apt. but will die after 5-7 days no food. Does not sound like a good solution? Copper band buter. possibly eat my LPS SPS & Clam? Pepermint I have a coral banded shrimp and I hear they will have conflicts. I do have a lage tank but i understand that they are both nocturnal and I need more input to make a decision...

I got some peppermint shrimp which are slowly eating mine, plus I hit em with kalk paste thru a plastic pipetter. They are slowly going Bye-bye. I started using my big filter sock which seems to keep it from spreading.

The hunt will go on! Keep it goin. It seems like you have quite a few of them. You'll notice the colony slowly diminishing over time... Just keep killin' em. I'd hate to buy an animal for the sole purpose of eating aiptasia.

Yes I would also say, keep killing them and hopefully over time they will diminish...

I did use a copperband butterfly to kill my 200+ in my 180g tank, but i knew when I got him, he was eating regular food...

I would not recommend a CBB, because most will not survive, once the aptesia are gone..

Used Joe's Juice in the past with good success, but if you can't reach them it sucks. Peppermint shrimp are the way to go IME
