Aptasia removal

I'm starting to notice very small anemone type growths on my rock. I am assuming that it is aiptasia. Is there something I can put into my tank that will rid me of these? They are very small 1-2mm and I see about a dozen or so of them and because of the size, I don't think I can effectively eliminate them 1 at a time. I tried to take a picture but couldn't get them into focus.

Copper band butterfly will eat them but are hard to maintain in an aquarium. Peppermint shrimp might eat them as well, but some stores accidentally mark camel shrimp as peppermints. There are products such as joes juice. I prefer making a thick paste of mrs wages pickling lime and covering them in it.

I've used peppermint shrimp with great success on several occaisions and would employ them again, if necessary. So they get my vote.

I have used Joe's Juice on 10 or so Aiptasia that popped up on my LR. Killed them all and they haven't come back at all. Originally I injected the base of the Aiptasia with a dose of straight lemon juice. that worked but only temporarily. I strongly recommend Joe's Juice and like the Aiptasia X, follow the directions exactly.

All of the above posts are good advice for getting rid of Aiptasia but I would make sure what you actually have are aiptasia before going any further. Could be beneficial sponges, or hydroids, etc. and why go to the trouble of killing something that would otherwise benefit your tank. Try to get a picture :)
