Aptasia spotted

What is the fastest and best way to get rid of aptasia.

I just found one on a peice of rock that is easily removable. Should i just remove the whole rock and destroy it or is their an easier way???

Any help will be great...i have been paranoid about the things since i started this hobby....thanks.

If you are paranoid, make a kalk paste and cover the spot like peanut butter on bread. I did that and have no problem. Otherwise, get a peperment shrimp, they always keep the aptasia in check.

The paste works .So does the peppermint. If there's one aptaisa, there may be more in the rock which will pop out later. No real need to destroy the rock though. If you wan't to be sure you've destroyed the one you have . You can always chip or cut off a small section of the rock it's in and throw away the small piece. I find a dremmel tool useful for cutting rock.

Take the rock and and use a butane torch. Zaps them every time with little time out or the water.
