aptasia

hello everyone...

i have s slight aptasia infestation going on. after trying joes juice, pep shrimps, & boiling water, i finally got a CBB. he loves the stuff! well, now, unfortunately i'm running out of aptasia

does anyone have any aptasia infested rocks you wouldn't mind letting me "borrow" so my CBB can eat some treats~!~!! i don't need the rock, so of course, you'll get it back. i set up a 30g full of base rock/live rock that i'm actually trying to grow aptasia in

if you're going to susan/bills house this weekend and wouldn't mind bringing it, i'd appreciate it. if you're not going, i can come pick it up. plz just lmk. thanks!~

Does the CBB bother your corals?

nope, not at all. it's an all sps tank though, with one rock that has some zoas on it. i have a huge toadstool in another tank that had some aptasia on it, i put it in the CBB tank this morning, and he devoured the aptasia and could care less about the toadstool.

Wonder what he'll do when he's been out of aiptasia for a week or two? Maybe you could lease him to somebody else for a month or so at the time.

funny we worry about small aptasia outbreaks but when i was at the georgia aquarium their tanks had ALOT of it

I'll get with Tony, too. Most of the tanks he's inherited are covered in Aips. He's been bringing me Aip rocks for the nudi's.
