Aptasia

Hey all. I need an idea on how to remove an aptasia that I have growing in my tank. I had not had any for years that all of the suddent within the past few months I saw on poking out of a zoo colony. The rock that it was one had been in the tank for over a year and the aptasia seemingly came from no where. Anyhow, I have tried nuking the thing 4 times now with boiling tank water and it will be gone for a week or so and then one day it comes back. It has tried to make babies and Ive managed to nuke all of them but this one just keeps coming back. I was thinking about trying to apoxy over it. Any other ideas?

I've had some in the past that would not die regardless to what I did..... Epoxy is what finally took care of them.

I'll prolly try the expoxy first and hopfully that will work. If not maybe to paste, but I dont dose kalk so I'd have to borrow some off someone.

I learned my lesson the 3rd time. Now I only use berghias.Natural predation is always best in my opinion. They may starve when they are finished but they will eat at your aptasia buffet until it's gone.Good luck.

i just got a couple pepermint shrimp and they cleared my tank with 50+ aptasia in a couple days....just make sure its completely black(no moonlights) or they wont come out to eat
