Aqua C Beckett Mod?

I am contemplating modding my Aqua C EV 180 w/ one of those Ebay Beckett assemblies which I currently have.

Has anyone tried this?

I know this will probably negate the whole "spray injection" thing.

I never really got good production from my Aqua C over the years I have owned it (tried a Sen 700 and a Mag 9.5).

I currently have a MTC 250 beckett on my 90 gal which replaced the Aqua C and it works a heck of a lot better.

I will need a few fittings, but a quick visit to Home Depot should be all I need.

Any feedback will be appreciated.

Hey, I no exactly what you mean,
but it only took me a couple months :lolspin:

If the MTC is doing the job why mod the Aqua-c. You could sell it with a pump try to get some of your money back.

One problem I see is that a beckett likes a 3/4" Input & a 1" Output ( at least that's how I run mine ).

The Aqua-C has a 3/4" intake so youd have to reduce the output of the beckett. That will reduce it's effectiveness somewhat, unless you enlarge the hole in the EV.
