Hi all,
I have an Aqua-C EV 180 skimmer for sale. It is used but in very good condition. It has the John Guest fitting for connecting a calcium reactor.
I repaired a hairline crack caused by the air intake valve. IMO, it is poorly engineered and placed too close to the edge of the skimmer. Anyway, the repair is a small piece of acrylic sheet glued over the crack with acrylic solvent cement. I have done a lot of acrylic work. The repair is noticeable but neat and strong.
The skimmer is $345 plus shipping new from Marine Depot and go for about $200 plus shipping used on Ebay. If interested, PM me with a serious offer.
I will consider trades/partial trades for a sea-swirl, tunze stream or external pump.
