aqua c urchin ???

i just got myne in the mail yesterday and i was taking a look at it and i got a couple questions. first does it just drain out the hole in the side? or is it suposed to have a drain thing (a thing for the water to run off of out of the skimmer) second...do i need to hook the air hose up to the maxi-jet or does it just shoot water in? i hope these questions make since...they do in my head i just dont know how to word them

I had the Urchin Pro for a while. The water just runs out of the square hole on the side. I thought it would be messy, but it was fine. Don't hook up any air hose to the maxi-jet. You're pumping water in only. Good luck w/ your new skimmer.
