Finally got mine hooked up. I pulled network cable the other night. Now I can log into it from the basement wirelessly, or from the tv try sitting at the couch next to the tank upstairs. here are a few snaps of the intsall.

The manual said to install it somewhere it will not get wet, and the spot under the filter almost never gets wet, but to ensure, I installed a flashing to sheild it from the water. If I have to change the filter, I will simply disconnect the unit from the wall, and put a bag over the wires. Notice the network jack on the far left.

Someone has too much time on their hands! Should use some of that excess energy to find my T5 clips, LOL.... or did you bend them into a little hood for your ACIIIP? :clown:

That card should work too. I would lean more towards the locally available card though as shipping is gonna getcha and these so called plug-n-play cards are not always so 'play'.

Right again.... I would try Computer Renisance for a used cheap one first.

Yeah... those clips... that email you forwarded is still cheezing me off. and cheeze is ot what I want to say.

Ya that was fair to partly cr@py, especially given how much you spent there and how they shipped the order in two parts.

It's not like i did not call him back in under 2 minutes to tell him I had found the missing plug...

and your right... leaving the guy who paid for 96% of the order with a bad taste in his mouth prolly isn't good business. Especially over 2$ worth of clips and postage. Perhaps 40$ worth of electronics and plugs, but not 2$.

I ended up ordering the one you posted above, with the free shipping and no tax it run me $13.99, but I have to wait for it, standard shipping, whats that like 7-10 working days?

thankx all for the help, and will need more once it comes, Im not even guessing... I know ill need help, Im a lost soul on the comp. I know how to push buttons, but not make them.

Ooops.

Wish I had been checking in more often! Is no telling what I got in my box-o-computer parts!

For the future, if ANYONE ever has a need for advice or parts, check the member list and give me a call ! If you don't have it, check with Jason, as he will always have my info.

I may come and go on the board here or making meetings based on time and funds (don't like talking or seeing things that will make me spend money), but I'm usually around, so call if you need anything!

Here you go Bri...
