Aqua Controller JR issue

SO i have had my aqua controller jr setup for 2 weeks now, I have the DC 8 running 2 300W eheim heaters, and 2 4' icecap reef illuminations t5 fixtures. all i have programmed and plugged in ATM is the moonlights on the fixtures and the 2 heaters. Just today i noticed that my temp was high and that one of my heaters was stuck powered on, when it is supposed to be shut off. SO i double checked my programming and everything was fine (both heaters are set to be <79 on and >80 off) The aqua controller said that the tank was at 81.5 one heater was off and one heater was on. Well after checking everything i found out that the one plug on the DC8 was on no matter what, i tried to manually shut it off but no luck it stays on. So just for the hell of it i plugged in a light to that plug an the light just constantly started flickering. SO one outlet on my DC8 seems to be BROKEN?? did the 300w heater fry it? IS that to much power??

A 300w heater won't kill an outlet. Have you tried to cycle the power to the EB8 and see if that clears up the sticking outlet?

Ok now I am really worried. The temp reading was where it was supposed to be, between 79-80 for about 2 weeks perfectly. Last night I noticed it reading 82 so obviously something was wrong. I unplugged and replugged in the controller and it read 76 degrees? Wth is going on. I put in a small regular aquarium thermometer in and also used my yes meter to double check temp, they both read near 82 where as controller was still reading 76ish. Supposedly the probe comes perfectly calibrated which it was like I said for first 2 weeks then ban! Not working properly. Now I am really worried about this controller and don't know what to do???
