Hey Guys,
I have an Aqua Controller Jr with Two DC8s hooked up to my 180 system. I Programed each DC8 to have their own letter. so DC8 #1 is Letter A 1-8. DC8 #2 is Letter B 9-16.
So Far everything i programed has worked perfectly, besides figuring out what code to use for my Return Pump, and also Skimmer. I want these to be constantly running in the ON position, but i still want to be able to have full control over them. so i can turn them ON or OFF when i need to.
I'm just confused on what program to write to achieve this. the codes i wrote were like"If Time is > 00.00 then RTN "Return" ON and same for skimmer. and i also went into manual controls and turned them on "ON" instead of "auto" just to be safe that they would not shut off. and last night they both completely shut off.
you guys have any idea as to which code to write in?
Also, i dose with BRS 2-Part and i'm using the BRS MP2 Pumps. i have two of these pumps, one for alk the other for calcium. which outlet on the DC8 should i use? I've read that you can't use outlets (1-3 & 5-7) with small pumps like the aqualifter because they may not shut off when plugged into those outlets. that i should instead plug the poor power factor devices into the relay outlets (#4 & #8)
Now is the BRS MP2 Pumps have the same poor power factor as the aqualifter? i don't want to risk this on my tank, and find out that these pumps never shut off.
Thanks for your help everyone,
-Nick
