Aqua Controller JR

Serge I believe accuracy is the designation for "lab grade" meaning +/- 0.01 or .001 or finer readings.
The "cheapo grade" meanwhile have less resolution like +/- 0.05 or 0.1 ph accuracy.
Both types of glass probes have a manufacturer recommended replacement of 12 months.
I'm going for the "cheapo grade" probes for monitoring - I don't think I need that tight of readings.
I'm switching over to a calcium reactor so I may need the finer resolution probe for adjustments....but I don't anticipate it.

Thanks, I made a search and the difference is lab one designed to withhold more pressure/abuse. Regular one is fine.

Ok, mkbtank is out, so back to the original plan... if noone else wants in, lets call this closed, and I will get with Gary and hammer out the details. I would post on our site, but until we get all the login issues fixed, I will post it here.

OK, Champion is holding all of our products for us.
4 combo's Jr+PH+Temp+serial+DC8 for

Serge
Me
Stix
Bill

One payment is preferred, however champion would take individuals...

At this time, all further details for the ACJR Group by will be found on the www.delvalreefclub.org website

$243 total

On a side note...Marine Depot sells the base unit with serial port, temp probe, and DC8 for $279.99. The PH probe is an extra $44.99 for a total of $324.98 plus shipping. We are saving a total of about $80

very nice deal.

I have to check these out in a few months. I have gone overboard the last few months.

yes. they have a free download but it is very limited. i would love to hear feedback on the upgraded version from anyone who has it..

I think I will be getting it.. I will try the free version first.. I really just want to see the logs easier....(now)

the free version allows you to program the controller from the computer. you can also see your tank stats on the computer and from one remote computer.

one problem i had is the main computer in the house is upstairs. we have a cable modem for that main computer. we have a wireless router for my daughters computer and my laptop. i wanted to control the tank from the laptop so i needed to get a bridge --something-- to make that happen. that was another $90.00..... but now it works fine.
