I think this will not work, you need serial port adapter, which cost $$$

the ac3 has it... the ac jr it is an option......

you do need the serial port ..

Yes, but even if you have a serial port you need to connect AC to wireless router. Router doesn't have serial port, you still need adapter.
Your AC3 connected to router via ethernet port, AC Jr doesn't have it.

yeah, you need a serial to ethernet adapter, and they arent very reliable from what I have heard. I am just going to have a standalone Win 95 laptop with a wireless connection right near the tank.

I saw somewhere DIY project converting wireless router to work with this controller, but I can not find link. Basically, they just install serial port to router. Very simple and it works perfectly, but you need certain model of the router. I'll try to find this link.
