Aqua Lifter Vacuum Pump

Anyone still use these for dosing alk and calcium. I know they were the hot thing for a long time.

The airline kept clogging on mine so I ditched it. It seemed to function just fine though, and for $14, couldn't beat it.

Bought one for top off but got a peristaltic pump instead, happy with it.

I use mine now to prime my old HOB skimmer and I take the lines of my peristaltic pump and run them with the aqua lifter running water/vinegar through them to clean them.

Capt what were you dosing with it. I have heard that dosing Kalk would do that but calcium and Alk were ok. naprestsleep not ready to take that leap yet lol.

I was using it for kalk.

I use them for ATO with kalkwasser. I generally keep an extra on hand because they do seem to go bad within a year or so.

Well ready to give it a try 2 pumps ordered. First thing will be to check accuracy then repeatability.
