I use Loctite super glue gel works.

how do you adhere to the glass under water?

i too want a wall of GSP, I ordered 3 more frag mags, free shipping right now, so when they come in I am going to throw some Zoos and green star polyps along the back wall.

When I do a water change, I lower the water and then adher the coral to the back and hold it for 5min. Then wait another 5min and then refeil the tank and it works great. The corla will then encrust on the back of the tank. If I dont want the coarl there anymore I frag it. Then take a razor and scrape off the gule on the back of the tank.

How low do you drain your tank during WC's? I have a 75g tank so it takes a fair amount of water to get it down.

I did that with the GSP, it took over half of the back wall of my tank, but I decided to remove it because it actually became a distraction from the main tank. my .02

I have actually been making my own frag mags out of rare earth magnets, pop caps, and super glue. They are really cheap to make and look the same once they are encrusted. I sprinkle dried sand on top of the super glue to make it a quicker encrust.

I also encased agnets the same way and then drilled my GSP rock to attach it to the back wall. It was overgrowing my SPS and I figured it would be easy to frag on the back wall. Two mags holds uo a rock that's about 1x3x4 covered in GSP.

It depends on the tank. Its only a 24gal AP, and it was easy to drain. You can always drain it into a clean trash can that you use for WC's. I am going to do the same with my 120gal. I gusss it depends on how much water you change.

thanks to this thread they got another sale. I just order the big rock magnet for the back of my 125. If I like it, I'll probably order 3-4 more.

Thanks, its much bigger now and still being held up by the frag mag. IDK if it'll still work when i move everything over to my 75 because its thicker glass. We'll see.

Awesome, I love their products, I have ordered 3 3 packs and will be getting more in the future, I may go with a frag rock next.

thanks, I wish I didnt need so much epoxy putty on some of the lps and the sps with plastic frag plugs. The few frag mags that I superglued little pieces of coral to and that have grown look really good. My favorite is the one with my Joe the coral on it, I tried snipping the frag plug off of it and the frag broke into three pieces. I now have 2 Joe the Corals... i glued 2 of the pieces onto the frag mag and the other piece is growing off of the original frag plug. Soon the putty with be covered in coraline and then coral, so no big deal, I just need some patience

Has anyone used a Rock-Mag care to tell if there is any curing process that takes place? Any algae issues at first? I am considering getting one, it says on their site there are no issues with curing, but I am curious if I should know about anything before I purchase one.

thanks
