Aqua Medic Biotherm Controller

I am having tipical heater problems/ failing on, hardest working item in the tank on/off constantly, so ordered up an Aqua Medic Biotherm Controller/Monitor from MD, looking input from people that have one and how they like it.

I have one, it works as advertised. It comes on when the water temp goes a degree or so lower than the set point and keeps things nice and stable.

how many power outs does the aquamedic biotherm have????

I'm thinking of getting two 250W aquamedic heating elements, but I can't decided between a Ranco 1 stage or the Aquamedic biotherm. I know the ranco only has 1 outlet so I'd need to split it for two heaters.

If the aquamedic has 2 outlets, and is comparable to the ranco in quality, I will go for it.

The Aqua Medic has one, good for 1000watts, just plug a poewer strip into it and add all the heaters you want up to 1000watts!

Actually they make 2 the more costly one has 2 outlets, the cheaper one has 1, but go to my previous post, and you will be fine.
