Aqua Notes 3.2 Lite

For those of you, who are like me and wantt o try Aqua notes before you buy, there is a "lite" version avaialbe free for download at the following location:

OK, so far, NOT GOOD.

It crasehes with out of range scripot errors and seems to be so limited that I can't configure it to talk to my ACIII via my intranet.

This is one of the reasons, why I haven't paid the money for the software yet, I just don't hear too many good things about it.

I haven't had any problems with my full version at all.

What version of the software and what unit do you have?

I have AC3 and aquanotes 3.1.25 I just got them about a 2 months ago.

OK, I jumped the gun earlier. I didn't have it setup correctly. I have access to the controller, but the lite version is still a little buggy.

If you see a bug in the software, please send an email to support@neptunesys.com, and we'll fix it. A good bug report will include the steps you took to make the error occur, so that we can try to replicate the problem.

I will do that.

So far, they have been things that just shut the program down without warning. I will keep track of my steps and sned the info as I come across it.

I am using lite now. Seems fine. If I purchase the full version, do I have to reinstall or just put in my reg number to convert the lite over?

That is a great quetions, becuase I am going to be in the same boat.

You just need to put your registration code in, and then the Lite version has all the features enabled.

Curt, I bought 3.1 today and it is being shipped to me. I asked the guy to open the box and give me the code so I could activitate the lite version, I enter the code and still can't do alarm stuff.

The software still says lite too.

Did I do something wrong?

Never mind, I typed the code in wrong. I saw a listing that said he has to be tweleve digits and I had 13. Held the finger down too long on one key.
