Aqua Pod 24 questions

Just got a new AP24 w/150 HQI.

1) I never received any instructions with the tank. Is there anything that I should know that is not obvious?

2)Is there a way to run it without the sponges?

3)What's the best mod to keep fish out of the back chamber?

I run mine witout the sponges or any of the other media that came with it.

I have heard of people cutting a piece of acrylic to fit over the back compartments to keep jumpers out. I have a hood on mine, so I don't have that problem.

Instruction book is very vague with the 24 AP, as for mine I removed all sponges and bio balls and Im now using filter floss, chemipure and purifex and thats its, Ive seen mods to attach to the back compartments but i myself have not made this mod
