I still haven't hooked up my chiller yet. You know what really hurts my tank? Not necessarily the increase in temp but the drop afterwards. I think if the temp went up and stayed up everything would adapt pretty well. It's when it falls back down and the goes back up again, then back down again that I start to see problems.

I was going to get the Teco but there is a method to my madness. Keeping the temperature constant is key. What I dont spend on the chiller can be spent on controlling the chiller.

What are you using the ice probe for? Tank cooling or autofeeder cooling?

I'll keep that in mind. We'll have a single one designed for a 16oz bottle on the market in the future so it's affordable for higher numbers of reefers. However, ramping up the design should be too hard
