Aquabacs' Cadlights Artisan 50 Azooxanthellae Tank build

That is nice looking. I have always admired those that can keep a single species tank. I have never been able to do that.

I agree. Awesome tank, very simple. It would be impossible for me to have a species only tank. Unless it was a mantis, but even then I would probably have to have corals with it

Hey Mike, tank is looking awesome! Do you still have this (possibly Cladopsammia gracilis)?

Saw your video Joost posted on RB not too long ago. Curious how it has been doing for you.

Not sure if you guys have seen this or not?

Jim Gryczanowski, owner of Nebraska Aquatic Supply has a nice, very minimal Halcurias tank set-up in his office...just an Ecoxotic EcoPico.

Hey Austin. I have one of those. It really doesn't open up much even to feed. It eats but little to no tentacles. How about yours?

Interesting. I've seen a few more of them come in lately and wanted to see how they were doing for people. I do not have one right now but was considering having a go with a couple colonies. I like to see polyps though so might have to rethink that one ;)

Well the polyps are few and far between. I broke mine up to try different flows and such. I can get polyps out of one that is in direct fire from a powerhead but nothing like a sun coral or dendro. I kept one in my sump so I can keep feeding it from a bowl. It eats I have seen it but no ployps. I will say this though the color is amazing.

I've found a few of these local to us, might give one a shot. As you mentioned, color is just fantastic. The real reason I want to see polyps is we're used to PE meaning good health, but if these guys stay happy, and show great coloration with only a small amount of PE I can live with that ;)

i started reading this about 9 hours ago and all i can say was this was so worth the read!
