Aquacontroller as wavemaker/Aquasurf???

Okay, so I've been doing my research and decided that an Aquacontroller III is right for me, mostly because of the ability to hook into a network and a computer. One of my big reasons for wanting a controller though was for the built in wavemaker function that all these controllers tout they have. Now I keep hearing about this "Aquasurf" module, however, which is supposed to allow the AC to act as a wavemaker... so, my question is, do I have to have this Aquasurf module for my AC to be a wavemaker, or is that some sort of expansion? I want the circulation to cycle and alter in my tank, but having to buy another 200 dollar module really raises the cost of the AC. The Aquacontrollers say they act as a wavemaker, is that misleading? Does the Reefkeeper act as a wavemaker without a separate module?

The aquasurf module is necessary to use the AC3 to make a wave. I have the aquasurf to control 4 Tunze 6105, 2 for the wave, 2 for randon flow.

Geez that's misleading. I hought i was built into the main module and that makes me want a controller MUCH less. Does the Reefkeeper do it out of the box or does it also need some sort of expensive addon?
