I was looking at an Aquacontroller Jr. and wondering if more than one DC8 could be added to the controller? I have seen product listings stating that you can add up to four DC4's in series to expand to 16 controllable outlets and was wondering if you could accomplish the same with two DC8's. Also are the DC8's or DC4's surge protected? If not, what do you use to surge protect them? Also, can the Jr. be hooked up to a computer and interface with aquanotes like the Aquacontroller III can?

with the Aquacontroller Junior you can only control up to 12 individual addresses. So you could use a DC-8 and a DC-4 and control them. Also, you could use 2 - DC-8's and have some of the outlets overlap and you could control 16 outlets but only via 12 addresses - if that makes sense.

the new Junior with the serial port option can be connected to Aquanotes.

I think reefstop's is the cheapest, you just have to wait a couple weeks until the group buy is filled, then it takes another week or so to get it, but it's a great deal. I got mine a few weeks ago and have never been happier about my tank. It gives me peace of mind to know that my temp and PH cant fluctuate greatly. Co2 always shuts off when it's supposed to, Kalk top off will never nuke the tank, heaters cant fry the tank, chiller cant drop the temp too much. Feed mode is cool.

Premium aquatics as of 2 weeks ago when I ordered mine AC JR still has RC group buy pricing which was just a few dollars more. No waiting items in stock but I had to order online via the link above and I recieved mine in couple days. I dont know if still have the pricing now but contact jason at Premium Aquatics to verify
