Working on another salt comparison video and id like to share my test results on Aquaforest Reef Salt. I would also like to ask other reefers if they have had similar test results. I mixed as per instructions at 75F mix for 15 minutes to a SG of 1.026.
Pros:
Mixes clear in about 10 min, Mg 1470, Cal 480-500. The salt is super fine and not much is needed to mix at 1.026.
Cons:
Mix turns water a bit yellowish, Alk 6.49-6.55 dKH
Test kits used Hanna Alk, Salifert Mg, API Ca, and a calibrated refractometer.
