I've had a 30g forever and expanded it a little bit by putting an aquafuge (hang on refugium) in the back. It has it's own light, etc.
This weekend I am getting a 125g with a 20g sump underneath. I will be moving my stuff out of the 30g into the 125g.
I am planning on keeping the skimmer in the sump.
The sump does not have a refugium area.
Can I reuse my aquafuge and just hang it onto the 20g sump?
Or would that mess things up?
I have small kids so keeping things out of sight (like in the cabinet) limits how much they're tempted to mess with it but I can use it as a tank hang on again if the sump hang idea is not good.
