Mixed reef with a bit of everything.

Personally, I would suggest going with the Color. I think you'll be able to dial in the overall warmth or coolness that you're seeking in the tank a lot easier with this.

I just got word that the new wireless controllers will be retailing for $79.95, and will be on the first shipment of the Vega's when they head out from AI!

I'm definitely interested as I've already preordered. Will the wireless controllers be added onto the overall unit cost? Or sold separately and shipped already attached ready to go out of box?

Yes, the controllers will be a separate purchase from the module itself, just like the SOL Blue's.

I see that you have not posted the new controller for the Vega's on your website yet. I believe I read somewhere what the pricing was. I would like to place the pre order to go with the vega I order. Don't want to have the lights and no controler. When do you plan on putting this up online?

I spoke with AI just a couple of days ago and everything is still going as planned. They are still on track for shipping by the end of this month they said, which is what the plan has been all along - mid to end of August. This was straight from Chris himself.

The $499 is a great price point, but having to buy the controller on top of that puts it at $580.. That's getting closer to the Radion.

? Most people will need 2 units. Vegas $1080/Radions $1500 Big difference IMO

I'll give them to the last day of August. Let's see if they deliver like they promised. If they fail to meet the promised deadline for delivery, I'm going to place my order for the Radions the next morning. It's the silence from the company that scares me. If they are that hard to get an answer out of before they have my money, I could imagine trying to get an warranty issue addressed.
