Hi, pgammon. The AquaMaxx EcoMaxx EM200 In-Sump Protein Skimmer is estimated to arrive here this Friday, 9/13/13. We are anticipating a delivery of 46 EM200 skimmers. We presently have 34 backorders, so as of today that will leave 12 available for customers to purchase. If you'd like to place an order now to reserve one of the units, you're welcome to... we won't charge your card until we process and ship the order (unless you use PayPal, in which case we charge you and ship when available). You're also welcome to click the "Add to Cart" button on the product page to access our notify feature so we can send you an email once the skimmers are here.

We hate to be the bearers of bad news, but the estimated time of arrival for EM200 skimmers is now the end of September. :thumbdown

Well there are going to be quite a few happy Cones owners next week IMO...
Can you elaborate on this? It's quite a change from "held at the airport for inspection".

We are trying to lock in an exact date but, as you can see from this thread, locking in a date on deliveries from overseas is challenging, to say the least. AquaMaxx tells us the actual production of new EM200 skimmers has been delayed because they did not have all the parts in to build them, although they say they are working on them now. We certainly apologize for misjudging when they would arrive. We assumed they'd be here already. Now it sounds like late-September/early-October. If anyone monitoring this thread needs to cancel an order to pick up the skimmer elsewhere, give us a call at 1-800-566-FISH (3474) and we'll go ahead and do that for you guys/gals. Playing the waiting game is no fun at all, especially with ever-evolving ETAs, so if you need to pickup a skimmer elsewhere we completely understand and feel awful about making you wait. :facepalm:

"I just received an email update this morning that these are ready to ship. I will be getting a quote from my freight forwarder for air freight, and, if all goes to plan, we should have these by next Tuesday/Wednesday.
We already have 37 of these assigned to backorders and we will receive 46, so we will have 9 skimmers leftover/available for customers to purchase."
