Sorry for the delay in replying. We were waiting for an update from our purchasing department. Here is what they told us:

"I just received an email update this morning that these are ready to ship. I will be getting a quote from my freight forwarder for air freight, and, if all goes to plan, we should have these by next Tuesday/Wednesday.

We already have 37 of these assigned to backorders and we will receive 46, so we will have 9 skimmers leftover/available for customers to purchase."

Same here. I think it was billed on Friday but have not received any shipping confirmation from MD yet. I'm guessing that if the site shows 6-8 weeks now, they might have sold out of the allotment that they received.

Good call guys, same here. Yes, selling out of initial allotment is the only thing that makes much sense now.

Good morning, RC! We received our shipment last Friday, 10/18/13. They have been inspected, inventoried and allocated for shipment—which is why some of you may have been charged already. All will ship today. We only had one order that came through this morning that will have to wait until our next shipment. Everyone else that has been waiting will be taken care of today.

The EM200 was on my short list until i noticed it was unobtainium. It appears with the shipment today we could start seeing regular shipments or will it now be another 6 to 8 weeks plus?

We still do not have a precise delivery date, but we are still expecting delivery by the end of November. Our purchasing department says they will keep us apprised of any delays so we can come back to RC and update you if there are any unforeseen hiccups.
