aquamedic kalk reactor and calcium reactor set up

I'm almost finished with the set up of my new aquamedic kalk reactor and calcium reactor.

I need some info about the final stages of my set up.

regarding the kalkwasser reactor, Im using the one in this link : http://www.aqua-medic.de/seawater/en/13/kalkwasserreactor/

Im using a SP3000 dosing pump feeding the reactor from a RO water tank. At the bottom, there is a drain valve. I think this valve is not for feeding the kalkwasser from the reactor to the sump. Right? And the air valve on the top of the reactor with a gate valve, whats the purpose and how do you use it? And the drip counter which I pleaced in the sump, feeding the sump with kalkwasser from the reactor, is it supposed to be the way I set up?
