Aquaph8's 225 Build

Prazi is great stuff. We use it as a preventative for all of our new acquisitions. Glad to hear she is doing so well as she is quite a beautiful specimen!

One more for learning.

Brett,

Download the iMovie app. It will make downloading videos way easier.
Thats a whole nother lesson Jim. LOL

Glad to hear she's eating with gusto also...I love prazi pro.

Thanks man. I think Im gonna do one more round and then Ill move on to the last issue. Im almost positive my yellow tang isn't gonna play nice at first. Hopefully the acclimation box will be enough to curb some of the aggression.

Sorry for all the extra videos. For the record I didn't pick the music in the background, Its from the movie my little boy is watching in the same room. Learn something new everyday.

Hey Brett,
It's great news the fishes are getting thru the treatments. I guess your feeding regimen is the key. A well fed fish has better immunity and fights of the infections.
Congrats on the new phone!! You will love it. It's quite easy to figure it out and it's very user friendly :)
For some reason I'm unable to see the vids on in here, they are not shown up on ur post. :(

Thanks Noob, Fat fish are happy fish for sure as long as you can keep up with the bioload. I love the new phone, so much better than the droid I had before. Im still trying to learn the whole video thing, Im sure Ill get it but its not going too well so far.

Yes Sirrrrr!!! Looking Really nice Brett! Nice wrasse too! Is that an icefire in the third pic?

Nice!!! Happy fish and equally happy corals! Coming up really nice Brett!

Thanks Jon. Im trying with the pics, I have so much respect for all you guys with your beautiful pics. That top one looked so much better when it was small, LOL. Practice makes perfect, I guess. That marginatus has become one of my favorites, hes so big compared to the other wrasses that he just struts around like a stud. As far as that coral, I always thought it was a bottle brush. I got it for $5 from a local reefer but never knew what it was.

Thanks man, nitrates are creeping up on me but no real algae problems so far. I started dosing vinegar again so hopefully we can get them back in check before they get any higher.

Looks awesome Brett!
BTW the third picture does look like ice fire echinata that could use a tad bit more light:)

Very nice Brett. Isn't it great when things start to click? :) BTW, I don't think that's the Icefire or an A. echinata. The corallite structure is too compact. More like a very nice and happy looking A. tenuis. Either way, a great looking coral by any name.

Interesting.. Nice score whatever it is.. I just scored a bottlebrush type coral at my local reef club this past Sunday. Turned out to be a granulosa I believe. In researching, I finally realized that bottlebrush is not a species but a certain growth pattern that you will find in enchinatas, granulosa, torts and maybe even turaki. All these years in the hobby... that was news to me. LOL!
