Aquapods Copepods for tank

I just bought a 4oz. bottle of Aquapods Copepods today for my 70g. Anyone ever use this stuff? As I have a mandarin, I figured this could only help. The bottle said it's "Born on Date" was August 29th. There was some green algea-ish stuff in the bottle just laying there. I squeezed it out onto the live rock as directed.

My question is, what is this green stuff? Where are the pods in the 'solution'?

I think the "greed stuff" is a small piece of chaeto. The pods are in their, but they are very small....

Look at your tank with a flash light at night, best way to see them.
