I picked up 1 of the smaller purple S.Gigantae today from Aquapros. Did anyone else pick up the other small one and large one. Just checking to see how yours is doing.

I will post pics once settled in and pumps are back up to full. Mine looks very healthy and purple under my 20k halides.

BTW this was the first time I have been there and both mike and Dave were great to work with. They have some nice corals and prices aren't too shabby either, but 1 purchase at a time I promised the wife :)

I picked up a neon green haddoni from them Saturday
Yep it's a great little shop
Pretty much all my stuff came from them

I got a Purple Giga from Dave a couple of weeks ago. It's Doing Good.

This is just my opinion / first impression, seems like your Anemone is a Hadooni & not a Gigantea. Giga's like to be perched on rocks closer to the lights & hadooni likes a sand bed & has shorter tentacles.
Oh well, who knows might be the nem is just settling in & not open as yet. Post some more pics.

I was thinking the same thing. I didn't think to look for he spots underneath. Oh well, still a nice specimen.

Take something like a pipette or something and get the nem to show you the underside of the pedal...

I too, would like to see the underside!!! Any chance on getting a better in focus close up of the tents, mouth, and underside? Underside dot color?

I think I was bamboozled into thinking it was a S. Gigantea. No spots underneath, so I guess I picked up a nice purple Haddoni

Purple haddoni is more rare than purple gig. Just look how many have showed up on the boards lately, compared to purple haddoni. If so, nice score!

Still, got a picture of the underside? Close up of the mouth? For a haddoni, something seems a little off in my eyes... That mouth looks a little off for a haddoni.... :) You may have a real rare one...

Well if you're disappointed that you got a haddoni vs gigantae ... I'll take it off your hands! LOL
