reeferman, something tells me you walk into all the stores you do, thinking you know more than employees and try to play "lets stump the staff". You may know what they pay for coral and fish, but how about other costs? Rent, insurace, advertising, products to keep the fish and corals, employees, taxes, etc. I mean come on, who do they think they are trying to make a profit? Ask your LFS how much they have to sell a day to pay "the bills". the owner of the store has been in the busines as long as you have, so i am pretty sure he knows what AEFW are. Too bad that only you can post your half of the story. A public service? More like a public joke..

Well seeing how I had to explain to him what AEFW where didnt convince me of his knowledge.
AS far as his side of the story I would love for him to post his comments.
As far as cost of running a store yes I know the cost. I have several friends that own stores . It not how much the stores cost to run as it is how much they can get you to spend.
I have a friend that own The Fish Store and More in Atlanta there rent alone is 14,000 a month. I know he is not paying that for his store. So dont get it twisted you are talking about stuff you have no Idea about , and as a hobbiest if you dont ask questions from the people you buy from then your just stupied. Go ahead get something in your tank that you realy can kill . It not my tank but dont go all crying when you do . Its your own fault for not asking questions or expecting there corals , and for a store owner that doesnt know about things like this , they need not to have a store.
Thats my final words , unless you have somthing half way smart to say I am done.

His LR is expensive, I am sorry but to me I have been in two Sarasota stores and both were $9.00 a lb. Thats a rip off, The purpose of Reef Central is bounce ideas off each other, help each other not discourage.......

If you want Tonga Fussion, good. If not buy what you want. That thread was about the store and $9.00 any way you slice it is over priced. I was in a a store in Cape Coral today called "Reef Center" or something and he was selling Blue Chromis for $10.
That is obsurd, in Ft Lauderdale they sell for $3.99. You guys are paying toooo much.

Drives, some people just want to make a scene try to bully others around. We can tell he just wants to inflame the situation by injecting profanity (yes we can tell what all the @!$$%% mean) And as far as I can tell this old dead thread has been revived by reeferman75 and krzyphsygy just to in flame us...its funny how someone in Atlanta is following this forum and jumps back in to use profanity and bash us again by calling us Idiots instead of letting it die.

You know too bad that a thread about a great store such as AA gotten so far off base. The original intent of this was not to have grown men bickering that they know more than one another, but just to give people a heads up about a great place to get great stuff. If I added fuel to this fire, I apoligize. But this thread was buried in the archieves and was brought up with cruel intentions.

To the wonderful staff at AA, I apoligize if this has in any way given anyone a sour taste for your store... it's really all just a shame....

You know you started this whole thing at the top of the page when you said B***S*** about the rock price I got. This was not brought on by me. I simply stated that it was expensive, what I can only say good things. That does not make sense.

However I will reconcile and say " sorry"
