Well, I bought a sump off of someone on nano-reef.com that would fit perfectly under my stand. Fits great, love the desing, only one problem......

Well, the question, is this possible to be fixed for a reasonable amount? or am i looking at a total loss? Grr... between this and the guy who sold me a pump (that took him over a week to ship), im done buying used.... any help would be greatly appreciated...

Just a poorly fused seam. I had one person tell me to try using weld-on along the busted seam? Will this alone be enough to properly seal it?

Weldon #16 in the tube would work ok. It's more like gel than water and is good for fusing/welding seams. For piece of mind, I would find a small trim piece or stick from something or maybe a shop in your area would give you a piece, and use it to fill the gap area and give you better welding surface. That's just me, and the Weldon 16 should be fine as long as the gap is minimal:)
