Aquarium Controllers

Reefing On My Mind
Team RC
I know a few of you guys use them... Just wondering which you all use and the pros and cons of them... In particular I'm looking at the ReefKeeper 2 vs. the Neptune Aquacontroller III...

I'm seriously considering breaking down my systems and just setting up one big tank this summer... I think/hope it will be easier to keep up with one big system as opposed to 4 smaller ones... I'd like to use a Controller of sorts to maintain things and limit my routine maintanence a bit...

This all might be wishfull thinking... LMK what you guys think...

I'm running an ACIII. For the most part, I like it. It does some crazy/stupid things, though. Viewing status online, it'll say a certain plug is Off, but the freakin chiller is on... I have it near an Ice Cap VHO ballast, so it may be interfering? The AC's have a lot of capabilites these days. Aside form what I hope to be interference, it does a great job. I fried an HD outlet, too (had three 250W MH plugged into it:rolleyes:), but I'll take full blame for that one;).

I use an Aqua Jr for my tank. It controls the lights, heat, cooling, ATO, and all of the pumps.
I use the X-10 modules rather than the DC-8, simply because I already had some X-10's.
I love the thing!!!
I access it by using the free program 'Log me on". I can check on how things are doing from any computer, anywhere.
I doubt that I ever have another tank without one.
They are one of the best investments that you can add to your system.
