Aquarium Lights - Lightimetunnel

Hello folks!

I've purchased the chinese LED Lightimetunnel lights a while ago, they have a pretty solid build and are almost 100% silent.

Although, I am not sure how should I configure the light's intensity. It has two dimmers that range from 0-100% as follows:

Channel 1 (28 LEDs): Cool white, warm white, red 660nm, green 520nm
Channel 2 (27 LEDs): Blue 460nm, purple 410nm, royal blue 450nm

Having that said, here are the specs of these lights:

Dimensions: 15.8 x 8.4 x 2.4 inches
One light is ideal for 24x24x24" tank
Weight: 7.9 pounds
LED chips: 55pcs*3watt
LED Brand: Bridgelux/Epiled
Actual power Consumption: 110W+/-3%

I would like to count on you or even better, with someone that has them to help me decide at which spectrum should I run them, as well for how many hours in each spectrum?

I wouldn't go much past 50% for your tank size and beyond that is mostly a personal thing..
Set it to a color you like.. Some like a lot of blue.. some like more realistic color,etc..

Then run them for about 8 hours.. Some people like to set the blue channel to come on and go off about 1/2 hour after/before the whites..
So blue on.. then 30 minutes later have the white channel come on.. then 7-8 hours later have the white channel turn off.. then 30 minutes later have the blue channel turn off..

By the way, to all new reefers like me, these lights are a great deal for the buck, given that you don't mind their "industrial look"...

I will start running the lights for 8hours from now on, I was running them for about 4-5...

By the way, I have a 75 gallon Petco tank with two of these lights, just so yall know...

I run my marsaqua ones (pretty sure they're the same) at 90% white and 100% blues with two on a 90g tank.

Lighting schedule:

11:45 am blues only on
12:45 pm all on
9:45 pm whites off
10:45 all off.

It's about 400 PAR on the tips of my rocks with my lights 12" off the water surface and the rock another 10" deep into the tank. Perfect for SPS. I could probably turn them down a hair but I haven't had any problems with bleaching as long as I light acclimate properly.

What is PAR supposed to mean?

PAR= photosynthetically active radiation.

Sps like par anywhere from 150-500. The more the better in most cases.

LPS are also widely varying but usually like 100 or les.

Softies really don't care

Par is a general idea of light levels in our tanks. You can probably rent a PAR meter from your LFS and use it to adjust your lights to where you want them.

I'm using about the same lights as well.. no manufacturer name one them..
I have 3 165 watt lights on top of my 90
I run just blues at 100 percent.. thinking about adding the whites now I have won the algae battle.. I am thinking of buying a seneye par meter in the next few weeks
