I tried to find someone to move one in Alberta canada, they want $5k and won't cover me against breaks in glass or any other damages, this is a emptied tank into a supplied trailer and then place back in the house.

High way robbery.

This is what I would do. You could easily find a few guys willing to break down your tank and move it for not much more than a few hundred bucks total and maybe a case of beer.
