Aquarium Pharmaceuticals Pimafix & Melafix

melafix for bact. infections

pimafix for fungal infections

just be sure not to overdose and turn your skimmer off.

i can tell you this, which is ME, and IMO.. these are ok for a fish that doesnt have a bad case of whatever may need to be treated.. if its something you just noticed it may work, if its an existing condition that has not gotten better i wouldnt use it..these are good when used for new cuts, abrasions, new infections..when i had oscars/African cichlids it worked great for new open wounds, not existing ones, plus this is all i really used it for IME and a few others i know, it really didnt work well for anything else.. you are better off trying a powder type or pill form (maracyn, maracyn two, tetracycline)..and i would always treat anything in QT obviously..

Thanks for your posts.

I've got a ywg in qt. This morning I noticed a verticle mark on its hind quarters. It looks like a cut, but it could be something else.

I've begun to treat with both products. Some else recommended maracyn. Is it more of a chemical - the Pimafix & Melafix is all natural.

:(

Yellow wathcman not looking to good this morning...bet he doesn't make it through the day. Color is bad, he's hiding, he looks a bit emaciated - all with in 24-36 hours- after two weeks in quarantine.
