"Aquarium safe" silicone vs regular 100% silicone?

I need to reseal a tank that I will be using for a sump, so looks are not important, but obviously tank-safe is. A local I bought the tank from that has lots of experience recommended to use "Silicone I", which is just pure silicone. Others say to only use "Aquarium safe" silicone.

What do you guys think? The normal stuff is cheaper, of course, and you get a lot more.

Make sure the GE Silicoln does not have mold inhibitors in it. As long as it does not have Mold resistance and its 100% silicoln, it should be fine.
